Meet Linda
A Mannington native, Army veteran, and educator, Linda Longstreth spent 16 years representing Marion County in the West Virginia House of Delegates. Today, as president of the Marion County Commission, she brings the same preparation and commitment to public service that guided her military career.
She's ready to bring that experience back to Charleston and give District 75 a real voice in the state legislature.
She's Fought This Fight Before
A lot has changed in Charleston since Linda left the House of Delegates, and not for the better.
West Virginia keeps landing at or near the bottom of the national rankings—poverty, food insecurity, infrastructure—you name it. Public education is in a funding crisis, county and municipal governments are being stripped of their local authority each session.
District 75 has seen little to no economic growth outside of city limits.
These aren't hypothetical concerns, they're fights Linda's already been in, and ones she's ready to get back into for Marion County.
